RETURN POLICY & WARRANTY INFORMATION

 
RETURN POLICY:
Carpet and sheet vinyl orders are considered “Special Cut Orders” and cannot be canceled or returned.

*Manufacturer Policy Requirements on all Hard Surface Returns:
Hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl tile/plank, ceramic, glass, porcelain or natural stone tile are handled as follows:
  • Five (5) carton minimum
  • 25% restocking fee
  • Freight fee - both directions
Refunds will be issued in their original form of payment.

*All Fees Are Collected by Manufacturers Only

PAYMENT TERMS:
We require a 50% deposit on all orders with the balance due upon completion of installation.
**All material only orders must be paid in full prior to shipping and/or pick-up.

INSTALLATION WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY:
The Longest Yard guarantees the installation of all flooring products sold by us for a period of one (1) year from the date the installation is complete to be free of material defects and workmanship. Manufacturer warranty periods vary depending on the product. Refer to manufacture’s product warranty for information. If a product does not perform as described by the manufacturer, customer must file a claim with the manufacture and provide invoice and date of installation. The manufacturer will arrange for an independent company to inspect the product and determine if the defect was due to product failure or installation. TheLongest Yard is available to assist in filing a claim, if needed. The results from the inspection report are final unless the customer decides to hire their own inspection company.

**MATERIAL ONLY PURCHASE WARRANTY:
Merchandise is covered exclusively by Manufacturer’s Warranty.
Customers purchasing materials only are responsible for inspecting materials for damages upon accepting delivery or picking up the product at the supplier’s warehouse. Product defects must be addressed exclusively with the manufacturer by filing a claim.

OTHER TERMS:
The Longest Yard is not responsible for manufacturer and/or shipper delays.
